The lowdown -- Contemporary Asian artists are producing some of the most exciting and provocative works of our era. Searching for a Path, the inaugural exhibition at the new Asian Arts Gallery at Towson State University, presents seven contemporary artists working in media ranging from sculpture, drawing and mixed-media to glass and installation. Also, check out The Faculty Show of works by instructors from Towson's art department in the new Center for the Arts Gallery in the same building.

If you go -- The Faculty Show opens tomorrow and runs through Dec. 10. Searching for a Path opens Nov. 5 and runs through Dec. 15. Both exhibitions are in the Center for the Arts building on the Towson campus, 8000 York Road. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
