Witness intimidation alleged

Another relative of a man charged in an attempted-murder case in North Baltimore has been charged with witness intimidation.

Kenneth George Sr., 48, of the 300 block of W. Lorraine Ave. was arrested Wednesday night and charged with second-degree assault and witness intimidation.

Police said George approached the father of a teenage witness in his son's attempted-murder case and said, "Why'd you snitch on my family? You will be shot before night's end."

George's son, Kenneth George Jr., and a co-defendant, Timothy Meadows, are awaiting trial on charges of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder in a June shooting in Remington.

Meadows' brother and Kenneth George Jr.'s girlfriend also have been charged with witness intimidation in the case. Police said they also approached the witness' father.
