Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Burglary -- A Highland Avenue man surprised two trespassers as they entered his home Tuesday morning. The man told police he was in his home at 10:30 a.m. when he heard a noise at his back door. He approached and saw that two men had broken the glass on the door and entered. The men then ran out the front door. Nothing was missing.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- A man approached a woman walking near the 200 block of Back River Neck Road at 8 p.m. Tuesday and displayed a black handgun. He took the woman's purse and ran, police said.


Robbery -- A man was walking to his girlfriend's house at 10 p.m. Monday near Rolling Bend and Rolling Road when he was attacked by four men. One of them struck his head with a semiautomatic handgun, and he said he was kicked while lying on the ground. He was robbed of $180, cigarettes and a lighter.


Assault -- While walking on Joppa Road near Seven Courts Drive, a teenager was shot at two times by a man driving a silver-white Acura Integra. The teenager lay on the ground, and the shooter drove away.
