On Monday, October 17, 2005 ERNEST THURMAN GARNER, JR. Ernest served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He retired from the C&P Telephone Co. in 1986 with 40 years of service. The Glen Arm resident was 81. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline C. (nee Goepfert) Garner for 63 years. Devoted father of Sharon L. Streett, Ernest T. Garner, III, Jack R. Garner, Ronald J. Garner and Jacqueline F. Moeser. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the family owned Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Rev. Kevin Mueller will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 21 at the St. Joseph Church (Cockeysville) beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 1850 York Road, Suite D., Timonium, MD 21093.
