On the board

Human Genome Sciences Inc. appointed Dr. Robert C. Young to the Rockville-based company's board of directors. Young is president of Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

University of Maryland, Baltimore named Razia F. Kosi, Anne P. Hahn and Anne H. Lewis to the board of advisers at the School of Social Work.
