5 -- Turnovers recovered by Milford Mill's football team in an Oct. 10 win over county rival New Town. Rashod Underwood had two interceptions, with one each by Brandon McDonald and Marvin McLain. Lineman Teddy Dargon recovered a fumble at the 2-yard line in the 19-10 victory, which featured three interceptions in the end zone.

9 -- Consecutive games in which Kenwood's girls soccer team hasn't lost. The Bluebirds have not lost since falling to Leonardtown, 2-0, in the second game of the season.
