Tonight's Game

October 17, 2005

RAMS (2-3) @COLTS (5-0)

Time, TV, Line -- 9 p.m., Chs. 2, 7, Colts by 13 1/2

Trends -- Rams QB Marc Bulger has thrown for 778 yards the past two weeks, along with four picks. Bulger, who has been sacked 20 times, will be an easy target for the hard-charging Colts. But the Rams won't back off.

Attractions -- Tonight marks the head coaching debut of former Towson State linebacker and Baltimore Colts assistant Joe Vitt, who replaces the Rams' ill Mike Martz. Stopping the Peyton Manning express will be a tough opening assignment.

Ken Murray's pick -- Colts, 31-17

Steelers (3-2) @Bengals (5-1) -- The Steelers will need to win in Cincinnati to keep the Bengals from running away with the AFC North. They'll need Ben Roethlisberger to return to do that.

Chargers (3-3) @Eagles (3-2) -- Andy Reid had the bye week to mull over slow starts, an invisible running game and a disappearing Brian Westbrook. Now he gets to worry about the dangerous Chargers.
