Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Victim identified -- A woman found shot to death Wednesday morning in an alley in the 4700 block of Post Road near Rogers Avenue has been identified as Sandy Crawford, 39, of the 400 block of Poplar Grove St.


Victim identified -- Stephen Robinson, 55, of the 4100 block of Chesterfield Ave. has been identified as the man found shot to death Sunday morning outside a restroom near Franklintown Road in Leakin Park.


Arrest -- A man was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with vehicular manslaughter and related offenses in the death July 17 of an East Baltimore woman. Steven Kraft, 39, of the 6600 block of Loch Hill Road near Hillendale, is accused of fleeing police in a stolen Toyota Camry after running down Officer Edward Mendez outside a gas station at Orleans and North Washington streets. When the Camry entered the intersection of Eden and East Madison streets, it crashed into a car driven by a man and occupied by his wife and their daughter. Kraft was arrested at the scene and briefly hospitalized. The other driver's wife, Cheryl Broadnax, 47, of the 700 block of N. Streeper St. was fatally injured in the crash.

Burglary -- Tools and equipment valued at nearly $800 were stolen Wednesday from a house under renovation in the 1600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.


Arrest -- Keisha Dudley, 17, was arrested Wednesday at her home in the 2500 block of E. Fayette St. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging her as an adult with conspiracy to commit murder in the beating death and robbery of Jessie Lee Sr., 74, in his home in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. Lee was attacked Feb. 8 and died 13 days later.

Theft/malicious burning -- Two teenage boys were arrested Wednesday evening and charged as juveniles with stealing a Halloween scarecrow from in front of a house in the 1700 block of Johnson St. that day and setting it on fire at Riverside Park.


Arrest -- Terrell Cash, 24, was arrested yesterday at his home in the first block of N. Bentalou St. on a charge of attempted murder in the May 18 shooting of Maurice Artist, 26, in the first block of Gorman Ave.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- A man was about to pick up his mail outside his home in the first block of Hernwood Court about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday when several males, one armed with a knife, robbed him of his wallet containing credit cards and personal papers.


Burglary -- A yellow-and-white 2004 Z-80 Yamaha dirt bike was stolen Monday from a shed in the 200 block of Cockeys Mill Road. The burglary was reported Wednesday.

White Marsh

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Wilhelm Ave. yesterday and stole an estimated $3,244 in tools, jewelry and cash.
