Shoppers need plenty of fuel for a daylong spree in the mammoth Hunt Valley Towne Centre. When planning an outing there, these spots are good starting points for filling an empty stomach.

HOURS // 11:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Monday- Thursday; 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday- Saturday; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday GreystoneGrill's twin surf and turf skewers, $29, quell both meat and seafood cravings. Its cubes of grilled steak, scallops wrapped in browned bacon, shrimp and tangy tomatoes slip off the skewer and barely fit into your mouth. The side of string beans with garlic and onion slices is not nearly as strong as it sounds.

HOURS -- 6 a.m.-midnight daily Amid themiles of aisles and glass display cases,Wegmans offers a slewof inexpensive precooked take-home meals. An order of marinated sesame chicken, $3.99, goeswell with a side of autumnroasted vegetables, $2.16. Both can be taken home and heated or eaten cold on the car ride home.

Order two scoops of different flavors - themint chocolate chip and tiramisu go well together-and dig in with either a tiny gelato spoon or a normal one.

On a 7-ounce burger, $5.99, with lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese and jalapeno peppers, the peppers dominate everything else - especially the partly parched meat. A side of half crispy onion rings and half boardwalky fries, $3.99, saves the day.
