Wildlife festival -- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Wildlife Visitor Center will offer its sixth Patuxent Wildlife Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Live animals, research displays, tram tours and children's activities are planned. A behind-the scenes tour of the refuge's whooping crane facilities will be offered. All ages are welcome. Admission is free; there is a small charge for tram tours. The National Wildlife Visitor Center is off Powder Mill Road, between Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Route 197, near Laurel. http:--patuxentfws.gov.
