TUESDAY

Carroll County commissioners -- 9:30 a.m. meeting for an open community discussion in Room 300 of the County Office Building, 225 N. Center St., Westminster. A 10 a.m. meeting will include discussions of a public hearing to be held on a zoning amendment regarding the temporary storage of sewage sludge, a resolution to exempt gun clubs from the amusement tax, and bid approvals. A 2 p.m. meeting will focus on a Brandenburg Circle update, Food Sunday presentation and Fire Prevention Week proclamation. 410-386- 2043.

WEDNESDAY

Carroll County Board of License Commissioners -- (Liquor Board) will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Room 003 of the County Office Building. Cases include a violation hearing and two transfer requests. 410-386-2094.

Carroll County Historic Preservation Commission -- 6:30 p.m. open meeting in Room 007 of the County Office Building. The agenda includes applications for a new home on Middleburg Road; white vinyl fencing around a pool on Uniontown Road; updates on the sale of Uniontown Elementary School; a new house on Trevanion Road; the house tour; and the Bixler property.
