Carroll County has scheduled several community meetings, called Grassroots Gatherings, for residents to get involved in the county Comprehensive Plan process. All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. The schedule:
Keymar/Detour/Bruceville/Keysville/Middleburg/Feesers- burg: Tuesday, Evangelical Wesleyan Church, 1011 Francis Scott Key Highway.
Pleasant Valley/Frizzellburg/Mayberry/Tyrone: Tuesday, Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company.
Hampstead: Thursday, Shiloh Middle School Media Center.
Westminster: Thursday, Winters Mill High School cafeteria.
A second set of community meetings has been scheduled after the first has been completed. All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. unless noted.
Finksburg/Sandymount: Tomorrow, Sandymount Elementary School.
Silver Run/Union Mills: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Charles Carroll School.
Gamber/Louisville: Wednesday, Gamber and Community Fire Hall.
Sykesville: Thursday, Sykesville Middle School Media Center.
Taneytown: Thursday, Taneytown Police Department.
