Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Kidnapping/auto theft -- A 39-year-old man was walking toward his gold-colored 2001 Chevrolet Malibu parked in the 2600 block of Shirley Ave. about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, forced him into the rear seat and sped away. After the victim demanded to be freed, the driver stopped the car at Pall Mall Road near Keyworth Avenue and the owner fled on foot, uninjured. The car had tags 5AW Z38.


Robbery -- Three men, one with a knife, robbed a 49-year-old man of about $50 about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of S. Conkling St. The victim, who was struck on the head, was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Stolen vehicle -- A black 1996 Dodge Ram pickup with tags 38L 166 was stolen Tuesday in the 3000 block of Fleet St.


Burglary -- A dishwasher, stove and microwave oven - all valued at more than $1,500 - were stolen between Sept. 30 and Tuesday from a house under renovation in the 600 block of Stirling St.


Theft -- At least 35 compact discs and a stereo receiver - all valued at $625 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1996 Oldsmobile parked in the 1200 block of Washington Blvd.

Theft -- Someone broke into a 1993 Ford Escort parked Tuesday in the 1300 block of McHenry St. and stole 200 CDs. They were valued at $3,000.


Theft -- An official at St. Ignatius of Loyola Academy in the 700 block of N. Calvert St. reported Tuesday that someone entered an office Sunday and stole a wallet containing more than $200.

Theft -- Tools valued at $830 were stolen Tuesday from a 2003 Chevrolet van parked in the 200 block of Commerce St.

Baltimore County


Burglary/arrests -- Two men were arrested Tuesday and charged with breaking into Ballard Liquors in the 200 block of Ballard Ave. earlier that day and stealing eight bottles of vodka valued at $170. Arrested at a house in the first block of Shawgo Court were resident Paul Trexler, 22, and John Limpert, 20, of no fixed address.


Armed robbery -- A deliveryman for Maryland Pizza & Subs was in the 4800 block of Oakland Park Road about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when two gunmen robbed him of more than $100 and two sub sandwiches.


Robbery -- A 52-year-old man was taking out the trash at his home in the first block of Doray Court about 10 p.m. Tuesday when three men, one armed with a shotgun, robbed him of a necklace, cell phone and cash.

North Point

Robbery -- An 11-year-old boy was walking in the 700 block of North Point Road about 2 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by an older male who stole a video game valued at $50.


Burglary -- Five rings, a laptop computer and two watches were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 4400 block of Alan Drive.
