17-7 win lifts Loyola to 4-0

Joe Lennon connected with Omari Mobley for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help No. 2 Loyola come back and defeat Mount St. Joseph, 17-7, in a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference football game yesterday.

Mobley scored on 12- and 28-yard passes from Lennon within the first four minutes of the last period as the visiting Dons improved to 4-0 overall and to 2-0 in the conference.

The Gaels (1-4, 0-2) took the lead in the second half on a 1-yard run by Garrad Ricks.

Towson 20, Dundalk 13 -- David Brown scored on a 10-yard run in the second overtime to give the visiting Generals the win. Bryan Olden caught a 12-yard pass from Dale Piercy in the fourth period as the Owls (2-2) tied it at 13. Towson, which had to forfeit a victory over Perry Hall for using an ineligible player, is 1-3.
