ANNA "Nancy" PENN, wife of the late Reynold J. Penn for 54 years passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, after battling cancer for some time. Mr. Penn predeceased his wife in February 2005. A native of Baltimore, Ms. Penn spent summers as a child on a family farm in Massachusetts with her siblings and loved to tell stories about her adventures there. She was active in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for years with her children, became a Choice Nanny and was a member of the Rolling Hills Women's Club for over 50 years. With her family and late husband, she also owned and operated a chain of donut shops including Dunkin Donuts in Catonsville and Donut World in Howard and Carroll Counties. Always active, Nancy lived her life to the fullest, and traveled extensively around the world including over 20 cruises. Her sense of humor and caring ways were enjoyed by everyone that knew her. What she most treasured in her life was her family and many friends. Ms. Penn is survived by her sons, Bruce and his wife Holly Penn and Brian and his wife Kathy Penn of Ellicott City; daughters, Donna and her husband Mark Louzon of Greencastle, PA and Linda and her husband Spencer Gordon of Towson, MD; her sister, Marie Bemkey of Baltimore, MD and eleven grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the GARY L. KAUFMAN FUNERAL HOME AT MEADOWRIDGE MEMORIAL PARK, INC., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge (Exit 6 off Route 100) on Thursday, 4 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, on Friday, September 30, at 10 A.M. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 43025, Baltimore, MD 21236tember 25, 2005, BROCK ALEXANDER PILKERTON, devot ed son of Charles and Monica Pilkerton (nee Washington); grandson of Edna and Charles Washington; dear brother of Reggie Thomas, Courtney Thomas, Ashton Pilkerton and Morgan Pilkerton; dear uncle of Dorian Thomas; dear nephew of Debbie, Helen, Carlos, George, Todd and Christian Washington. Also survived by a host of loving cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 11 A.M. at St. Matthews United Church of Christ. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
