Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Theft -- Three sections of aluminum scaffolding, valued at $7,400, were stolen Tuesday from the dry dock area at General Ship Repair Corp. in the 1400 block of Key Highway.

Theft -- The tailgate of a white 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck was stolen Tuesday while the vehicle was parked in the 300 block of Annabel Ave.

Burglary -- A 1981 Honda C-70 motorized scooter was stolen Tuesday from the rear yard of a house in the 400 block of E. Clement St.

Stolen vehicle -- A white 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee with tags 456M163 was stolen Tuesday in the 4600 block of Virginia Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a silver 2000 Dodge Caravan with tags TJN 588 that was stolen Tuesday in the 100 block of S. Fremont Ave.


Burglary -- Someone broke into Capital Funding Group in the 1500 block of S. Highland Ave. through the front door Tuesday and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,500.

Burglary -- A bicycle valued at $400 was stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 300 block of S. Wolfe St.

Theft from vehicle -- Office supplies and computer equipment valued at $4,500 were stolen Tuesday from a 2001 Dodge parked in the first block of S. Broadway.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Robbery -- A 70-year-old woman walking across a parking lot in the 8600 block of Belair Road was assaulted about 6:40 p.m. Tuesday by a man and woman who stole a purse containing personal property and credit cards.

Burglary -- Two men broke into the Giant Food store in the 8600 block of Philadelphia Road on Monday and stole 80 cartons of cigarettes. They were valued at nearly $3,500.


Vandalism -- Someone entered a building construction site in the 3600 block of E. Joppa Road on Monday or Tuesday morning and drove a forklift through a wall and destroyed underground electrical conduits before getting stuck in mud. Damage was estimated at $3,000. Anyone with information was asked to call the precinct at 410-887-5310.


Robbery attempt -- A 65-year-old man was walking toward his apartment in the 2900 block of Marnat Road about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday when he was attacked by two men who attempted to rob him. The victim was struck with a hard object, but as he resisted, the assailants fled empty-handed.


Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 5500 block of Oregon Ave. through a window Monday night or early Tuesday and stole a tin can containing $150 in coins.

North Point

Burglary -- Two bicycles and a chrome bicycle frame -- all valued at $400 -- were stolen Monday from a shed in the 7600 block of Old Battle Grove Road.
