`Skip' Strong Jr., 38, BGE worker

Services for Wilson Edward "Skip" Strong Jr., 38, the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. crew leader who died in a Louisiana automobile accident Monday on the way to assist in hurricane repairs, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, 109 S. Hickory Ave.

The family will receive visitors there from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Strong, 38, was born in Havre de Grace and was a 1984 graduate of Fallston High School. He had worked as a BGE lineman for 18 years and was recently named a crew leader.

He was a member of the fire company since 1993, where he was an assistant chief.

Survivors include his wife of four years, the former Tina Marie Kuhn; their 4-month-old daughter, Olivia Jean Strong; his father, Wilson Edward Strong Sr. of South Carolina; a sister, Jenny Petrik of Abingdon; and his maternal grandmother, Elsie Leizear of Joppa.
