ELIZABETH CHESONIS, 85, of Fort Collins, Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Mc Kee Medical Center Hospice Unit in Loveland, Colorado. She was born October 18, 1919 in Czechoslovakia. She immigrated to the United States with her mother Elizabeth Platko. After living in Pennsylvania, her family moved to Baltimore. She wed Frank Chesonis in 1949 and had two daughters, Cynthia and Deborah. Frank passed away in a construction accident in 1970. Elizabeth and Cindy moved to Fort Collins to be near Deborah Chesonis and Daniel Newman in the fall of 2001. She enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and caring for her cockatoo, Tristan. She made many people smile during those 4 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Chesonis, son, Thomas Jennings, sister, Helen Mack and brother, Walter Novozinsky. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia and Deborah and Daniel Newman. A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524
