Police Blotter

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- A resident of the 5000 block of Moravia Road was shot in an arm about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on a parking lot near his home. Police said the 18-year-old victim was uncooperative and refused to be taken to a hospital. He was treated at the scene.


Robbery -- Police were seeking three men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a 26-year-old man of his bike and $170 in the 2400 block of Maisel Court about 10 p.m. Saturday. The bike was recovered in the 2300 block of Nevada St.

Burglary -- Two laptop computers, an iPod, a cell phone and cash were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1500 block of Jackson St. by someone who entered through a kitchen window. The loss was estimated at $9,230.

Burglary -- About $1,600 in cigarettes, coins and currency were stolen Sunday from Anbern's Tobacco Shop in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. by someone who broke the glass front door.


Stolen vehicle -- A burgundy four-door 1995 Chrysler Concorde with tags 1AJ A36 was stolen Sunday in the 400 block of Bath St.

Theft -- Several music compact discs and a book bag were stolen Sunday from a 2001 Chrysler parked in the 100 block of W. Hamilton St.

Burglary -- A ceiling fan and two chandeliers - all valued at about $2,800 - were stolen Sunday from a house under renovation in the 2500 block of Madison Ave.


Robbery -- A 35-year-old woman was walking in an alley in the 1300 block of Port St. about 2 a.m. Sunday when a man shoved her into a parked car and took $20.

Theft -- Two radar detectors and a jacket were stolen Sunday from a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck parked in the 500 block of Front St. They were valued at $140.

Baltimore County


Burglary -- Someone entered an apartment in the 7700 block of Hillendale Road through a bathroom window Sunday and stole a safe containing prescription drugs and keys.


Robbery -- An 11-year-old boy was riding a mountain bike along Thayer Terrace about 6 p.m. Sunday when an older youth knocked him to the ground and stole the bike.

Burglary -- A laptop computer, a 9 mm Taurus semiautomatic handgun and ammunition were stolen Sunday from an apartment in the 6700 block of Townbrook Drive. Entry was through a door.


Burglary -- A mobile telephone valued at $140 was stolen Sunday by someone who broke into Kwik Connect in the 3400 block of Dundalk Ave. through a door.
