The names of two men who were fatally stabbed last week in unrelated Baltimore slayings less than 20 hours apart were released yesterday by city police.

Terrance P. Williams, 18, whose address was not available, was found shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday in an alley in the 500 block of N. Decker Ave. in East Baltimore, bleeding from multiple stab wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department medics.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, a man involved in an argument with three others pulled out a knife and stabbed each of them in the 400 block of Water St.

Stanley Thomas, 35, whose address was not available, died a short time later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The other victims, whose names were not disclosed because they are witnesses to a homicide, survived.

No arrest had been made in either slaying, police said.

FOR THE RECORD - An article in yesterday's editions incorrectly identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred last week. The victim is Terence J. Williams, 28. The Sun regrets the error.
