THOMAS WILLIAM FORD, JR., 90 years of age, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland passed away Tuesday evening, September 20, 2005 in Estes Park, Colorado. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 4, 1915 and was a lifelong Baltimore resident until moving to Beatrice, NE in 2001. He married Marjorie Playford Rush on June 3, 1937. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Ford was president of Harrigan Roller Company in Baltimore, Maryland before he retired in 1984. His professional, civic and religious memberships included the Litho Club, the Craftsmen Club, the Printing Industry of Maryland, the Printing Industry of Washington, D.C. the Printing Industry of Virginia, Rotary International and the Towson United Methodist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, of Estes Park, Colorado; son the Rev. Jonathan Thomas Ford, Sr. and his wife Elaine of both Beatrice, Nebraska and Estes Park, Colorado; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas William Ford, Sr.; mother Mary Eleanor Birckhead; brother, Lloyd Ford and sisters, Elizabeth Eby, Mary Eleanor Hughes and Virginia Davis. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 26, 2005 in Beatrice, Nebraska. Private interment of ashes will be held at the Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery in Baltimore County, Maryland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the Christ Church Episcopal Foundation, Beatrice, NE and may be sent% Bill Boyce, 1626 Washington St., Beatrice, NE 68310.
