Maryland tight end Vernon Davis has earned Offensive Player for the Week honors by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Davis caught five passes for a career-high 158 yards and a touchdown in the Terrapins' 31-19 loss to West Virginia on Saturday.

Davis' touchdown was for a career-long 73 yards, and drew Maryland to within eight points early in the fourth quarter.

With 140 receiving yards against Clemson on Sept. 10, the junior from Washington, D.C., has now eclipsed 100 receiving yards in each of the last two games, becoming the first Maryland player to do so in back-to-back games since 1995.
