Redesigned Sun to offer new features, old favorites

September 18, 2005

Starting tomorrow, the redesigned Maryland section will showcase some of The Sun's best photography in a new Page 2 Monday feature, "Picture This." It's part of a new lineup of features and columns that will make that page a daily destination for readers.

Tom Horton's "On the Bay" column will now appear on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Laura Vozzella, a writer known for her sharp observations, will debut a column focusing on people, politics and everyday oddities. It will also appear on Friday and Sunday. Eric Siegel's "Urban Chronicle" will run every other Thursday.

On Saturday, the popular columns by Jacques Kelly and Frederick N. Rasmussen on Baltimore life and history will move from the Today section to Page 2.

Finally, the lottery results, previously appearing on Page 2 in the A section, will now appear on Page 3 of the Maryland section.
