Frederick 2, Kinston 0: Winner Brian Finch (2-0) worked five innings and Mario Delgado hit a homer as the visiting Keys (5-2) shut out the Indians (4-3) and won their first Mills Cup in 15 years, taking the best-of-five series, 3-2. Frederick scored twice in the second inning, on Delgado's homer and Brian Bock's groundout.

Single-A S. Atlantic League playoffs

Kannapolis 12, Hagerstown 5: The host Intimidators scored six runs in the fourth inning and went on to win and take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five league championship series.
