MARY G. LOWMAN, age 79, of Chambersburg, PA and Floral City, Florida, died Monday, September 12, 2005 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born November 14, 1925 in Hagerstown, MD, Mary was the daughter of Evelyn and Harry N. Robinson. A graduate of Glen Burnie, Maryland High School, she had worked for the National Security Agency and American Can Co. as a key punch operator. She was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church and AARP Chapter 2840, all of Chambersburg. Mary enjoyed reading, her dogs, and traveling to her winter home in Florida. She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Calvin R. Lowman, and daughters Barbara Holsey of Davidsonville, MD, and Linda Ornelas of Tucson, AZ, as well as four grandchildren and five great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother Harry R. Robinson and her sister Evelyn Louise Raines. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday September 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Menno Haven, 2075 Scotland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA by the Rev. Mark Woodring and Chaplain Vernon Isner. Interment will be in Crownsville National Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Menno Haven Benevolent Fund, 2075 Scotland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc. 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
