Led by Lindsay Driggers and Kristina Mercier, the Mount de Sales volleyball team upset No. 9 CHEN, 25-15, 25-12, 25-20, yesterday.

Driggers, a setter, finished with 20 assists and three digs and outside hitter Mercier had 10 kills, six digs and three assists for the host Sailors (2-0).

The Bravehearts fell to 2-1.

Field hockey

No. 8 Bryn Mawr 1, McDonogh 0: Senior forward Nina Emala scored the only goal of the game on a penalty stroke with just over 27 minutes left in the game for the host Mawrtians (1-1-1).

Carrye Hickey had 12 saves in a losing effort for the Eagles (1-2).

No. 12 Garrison Forest 2, No. 11 Notre Dame Prep 1: Melissa Pazornik scored the game-winning goal off a pass from Poppy Hall to lift the Grizzlies (3-1) over the host Blazers (1-2).

Kate Tracey scored the other Garrison Forest goal. Catherine Barthelme scored the lone goal for the Blazers.

Girls soccer

No. 11 C. Milton Wright 2, No. 13 Seton Keough 0: Megan McNeil scored 30 minutes into the first half on an assist from freshman Alexa Carlevaro, and Erin Rawlick added another goal in the second half as the host Mustangs (3-0) beat the Gators (5-1).
