On Friday, September 9, 2005, at a local hospital, BRYANT CHOW, born in Pieping, China; son of the late Bacon Field Chow and Idella Tong Chow. He graduated from Baltimore City College, Franklin & Marshall College and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He received his Ph D from Virginia Polytechnic University. He taught Statistics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and The University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he was awarded the Danforth Scholarship. He retired from the University of Southwestern Louisiana to become a vice president of the Chamber of Commerce in Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jean C. Wong. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally F. Chow, two sons, James B. Chow (Toni Fisher) and Alan Chow (Jill Showers), and four grandchildren, Chris, Mitch, Janie and Jordan, his brother-in-law, Dr. Vernon Wong and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Pine Crest Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 14 at 1 P.M., with inurnment in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum, Pine Crest Cemetery.
