Two men fatally shot in separate incidents

Two men were shot and killed yesterday in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Police received calls of shots fired about 2:30 a.m. yesterday in the 3200 block of Sequoia Ave., and officers found a man in his late 50s dead outside of a house with gunshot wounds to his head and chest. Police did not release the victim's name last night.

The second shooting took place 12 hours later and less than two miles away near a carwash in the 2700 block of Quantico Ave. Officers answering a call of shots fired about 2:30 p.m. found an unidentified man shot to death.

Police had no information last night on suspects or motives in the homicides.
