`Healing the World' talk at Unity church

Lutherans planning Rally Day on Sunday

The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie, will hold its annual Rally Day Sunday this Sunday. . A Sunday school picnic will be held after the 11 a.m. service. Discussions will focus on church-state issues

Coffeehouse event will feature Christian bands

First Baptist Church of Eastport, 208 Chesapeake Ave., will hold a Christian coffeehouse featuring contemporary Christian bands Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Fellowship Hall. Admission is free, and refreshments will be provided. Information: 410-268-7378.

Spaghetti dinner planned at Pasadena Methodist

Pasadena United Methodist Church, 61 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, will have a spaghetti dinner Sept. 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, Italian bread, drink and dessert. Adults pay $8, children 5-10 pay $5, children 4 and younger are free. Information: 410-647-3090.
