Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 3, Lynchburg 2: Gera Alvarez hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning and the host Keys won their first playoff game since 1990. The Keys rallied from a 2-0 deficit. With the score tied at 2, Norman Reimold led off the ninth with a single off reliever Chris Young (0-1) - his third hit of the game - and stole second. Reimold advanced to third on a groundout before scoring on Alvarez's fly to right-center. Chris Britton (1-0) worked two scoreless innings for the win. The Hillcats scored in the second inning on a throwing error and in the fifth on a fielder's choice. The Keys came back on an RBI groundout by Brandon Florence in the sixth, and scored the tying run on a throwing error in the seventh.

Single-A New York-Penn League

Hudson Valley 8, Aberdeen 6: The host Renegades (31-42) trailed 5-1 but scored seven runs in the eighth and held on for the win. Matt Cobb (3-5) got the win, and Bryce Chamberlin (1-2) took the loss for the IronBirds (26-48). Aaron Walker earned his first save.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 13, Hagerstown 3: The host Shorebirds scored seven runs in the fifth and Kevin Hart (10-8) got the win in the North Division playoff game. The Suns fell behind in the first when an error by shortstop Jose Coronado led to three unearned runs. Hagerstown scored two runs in the second, but Delmarva came back with three more. Jose Sanchez got the loss, and gave up all of the first five runs, two earned, in just two innings.
