Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Aggravated assault: A woman was struck on the head with a piece of lumber Sunday evening by a man who lost $1,500 to her in a dice game in the 1000 block of N. Gilmor St. She was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for a large cut to the left side of her head, and a warrant was issued for the assailant's arrest.

Robbery: A 39-year-old man was arrested in the theft of four $2.79 sticks of deodorant from a CVS store in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The man fled but was caught by a security officer.

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: A white 2003 Dodge Caravan with tags 389 001 was stolen Thursday in the 200 block of West Hill St.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: Five males were arrested after a home-invasion robbery early Sunday in the first block of Regalia Court. Police said five people broke into the home about 3:50 a.m. through an unlocked window, then used a BB gun to rob a 73-year-old woman and her 76-year-old husband of jewelry, a television, credit cards and prescription medicine. The suspects - ages 16 to 21 - were arrested as one attempted to use a stolen ATM card.

Stabbing: A 20-year-old man was stabbed numerous times by two attackers about 12:20 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Milford Mill Road. The assailants were both male, and believed to be 18 or 19 years old. Police said they knew of no motive for the attack.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Thieves broke into a concession stand at Arbutus Middle School and stole a snowball machine valued at $1,200. Police believe a window was pried open between 11 p.m. Friday and 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman was robbed at knifepoint as she stepped from her car in the Hampton Plaza parking garage in the 300 block of E. Joppa Road about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The robber approached, displaying a knife, and told the woman to get on her knees. He then took her purse, told her to get into her car and fled.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who robbed a man, 40, of $60, a pair of Nike tennis shoes and a gold bracelet about 1:45 p.m. Thursday, shortly after picking him up in a car at North Point Boulevard and Carroll Avenue. The victim told police one of the men implied he was armed.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Two laptop computers, $20 in change and bottles of Coca-Cola were stolen from Roberts Home Medical in the 9000 block of Yellow Brick Road between 5 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday after thieves pried open a rear door.
