Blue Jays update

The Blue Jays are trying to hold off the Orioles for third place in the American League East. Both teams have lost two straight. The Blue Jays have been shut out 11 times, tying the Oakland Athletics for most in the league. It's happened three times in the past two weeks, including yesterday's 1-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Four of Toronto's past eight games have been decided by one run, and the Blue Jays have played 38 one-run games this season. Toronto has dropped 12 of its past 16 games and is averaging just 3.1 runs during that span. Lilly returns after missing six weeks with biceps tendinitis. The Orioles took two of three from the Blue Jays in Toronto last week. They'll face three left-handers in this series. Former Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay is done for the season because of a leg injury.
