THE QUESTION: What can I do with computer equipment that I no longer need?

Anne Arundel County sponsors an annual e-cycling event where county residents may bring computer equipment. The next drop off days is scheduled for Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Glen Burnie Convenience Center, 100 Dover Road, Glen Burnie. Items that will be accepted include CPUs, hard drives, keyboards and mouse, monitors, surge protectors, computer speakers, MP3 players, DVD players, iPods, radios, stereos, calculators, scanners, copiers, VCRs, cell phones, pagers, telephones and portable televisions. If you'd like to recycle your working computer before that, consider donating it to a charitable organization.
