Triple-A International League

Buffalo 5, Ottawa 4: Steve Watkins (9-2) allowed 10 hits and three walks and struck out three, but led the Bison over the host Lynx.

Brian McNichol (6-7) went 2 2/3 innings, taking the loss for Ottawa.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 2, Erie 1: Mike Huggins scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the fifth inning as the host Baysox beat the Seawolves (63-75).

The Baysox (74-64) are in second place, two games ahead of the Altoona Curve for the final league playoff spot. They will play Altoona in a four-game series at home starting today.

Single-A Carolina League

Lynchburg 13, Frederick 3: The Hillcats (35-31) had 16 hits to defeat the host Keys (40-25).

Single-A South Atlantic League

West Virginia 5, Delmarva 4: The Shorebirds (26-37) rallied for two runs in the ninth to beat the host Power (29-36). Hagerstown 11, Lakewood 4: The Suns (26-37) scored four runs in the fourth and seventh innings to rout the visiting BlueClaws (29-36).

Single-A New York-Penn League

Williamsport 7, Aberdeen 3: The Crosscutters (38-31) scored three runs in the fourth and sixth innings and added one in the fifth to defeat the visiting IronBirds (25-43).
