1. Severna Park

Last season: 19-1, ranked No. 1

After graduating 10 seniors, the Falcons are rebuilding, but don't expect that to stop them from contending for an 11th straight Anne Arundel County title and a 15th state crown.

2. Roland Park

Last season: 14-5-3, No. 2

The IAAM A Conference champ returns 11 players, including lots of scorers and a complete field defense, which should keep it in contention to repeat.

3. St. Paul's

Last season: 13-2-4, No. 5

The Gators have some holes to fill on defense but return some of the IAAM A Conference's most prolific scorers.

4. South River

Last season: 17-3, No. 7

A veteran midfield and defense should have the Seahawks in line to make a run at a second straight Class 4A crown.

5. Bryn Mawr

Last season: 16-2-4, No. 6

Eight seniors graduated but plenty of talent returns to keep the perennially strong Mawrtians in the IAAM A Conference hunt.

6. Mount Hebron

Last season: 13-3, No. 13

The Vikings aim to stay on top in Howard County while prepping for a potential regional meeting with Severna Park.

7. Archbishop Spalding

Last season: 13-7-3, No. 3

With a top-notch goalie and strong talent up from the junior varsity, the IAAM A Conference runner-up should weather a big turnover.

8. Hereford

Last season: 16-2, No. 4

The Bulls are young but still talented after losing eight starters from the Class 2A title team that finished with 15 straight wins.

9. Dulaney

Last season: 12-4-1, No. 11

Speed, depth and skill give the Lions a shot at taking the title away from reigning Baltimore County champ Hereford.

10. Notre Dame Prep

Last season: 9-7-2, No. 12

The Blazers return 13 players and should easily fill any holes as they aim to move up in a powerhouse IAAM A Conference.

11. Century

Last season: 7-4-3, unranked

Nine returning starters, two solid goalies and a stellar transfer have the Knights on the rise in Carroll County.

12. Fallston

Last season: 8-6, unranked

After a rare down year, six starters return to make a run at a 10th state championship.

13. Garrison Forest

Last season: 9-9-1, No. 14

The veteran Grizzlies prepped with a Sport EuroTour of England, the Netherlands and Belgium.

14. Towson

Last season: 8-3-2, No. 15

With better leadership, the Generals may turn Baltimore County into a three-way race.

15. Broadneck

Last season: 10-5, unranked

The Bruins have plenty of veterans and motivation to move up in Anne Arundel County.
