Ann Lonegan exhibit At Antreasian Gallery

The dozen or so paintings in Ann Lonegan's latest exhibit depict everyday objects, plants, fruits and vegetables set in a surreal environment. Most of the paintings in Intimate/Infinite, which opens Tuesday at Antreasian Gallery, are 8 inches tall by 8 inches wide. "They don't scream at you from across the room because they're small and the color is vibrant and jewel-like," Lonegan said. "They seem more like a little treasure than a giant flag."

Ann Lonegan's "Intimate/Infinite" opens Tuesday and runs through Oct. 1 at Antreasian Gallery, 1111 W. 36th St. There is a reception 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. Call 410-235-4420 or visit www.antreasiangallery.com.
