Ottawa 5, Syracuse 0: John Stephens (3-5) struck out five through seven scoreless innings as the Lynx shut out the visiting SkyChiefs. Tim Raines went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Ottawa, which improved to 65-65. Syracuse dropped to 66-64.

Double-A Eastern League

Altoona 8, Bowie 4: Rich Thompson hit a ninth-inning grand slam off closer Nick McCurdy to lift the Curve (68-61) past the host Baysox (67-62).

Nick Markakis and Ryan Hubele homered for Bowie.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 6, Kinston 5: The Keys (33-21)scored five runs in the ninth inning to rally past the host Indians (26-31).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 10, Lakewood 5: Jason Fransz's two-run double highlighted a six-run ninth inning as the Shorebirds (35-19) rallied to beat the host BlueClaws (26-29). Hagerstown 5, Asheville 4: The Suns (20-32) scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to defeat the visiting Tourists (26-30).

Greeneville 5, Bluefield 0: Orioles' Brandon Erbe (McDonogh) struck out seven but allowed three runs and two hits through 3 1/3 innings in the first game of the doubleheader. Greeneville 9, Bluefield 1: Starter Chorye Spoone (2-5) gave up four earned runs on four hits in two-thirds of an inning as Bluefield (27-33) was swept by the host Astros (24-34).
