Jeschke, Curt Alfred Herbert

CURT ALFRED HERBERT JESCHKE, age 85, of Catonsville, MD, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, in a local nursing home. Mr. Jeschke was born on March 14, 1920, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Alfred W. and Anna Moller Jeschke. He was a senior partner of Purdum and Jeschke, civil engineering consultants. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Baltimore City and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association. Mr. Jeschke graduated from the University of Maryland with Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army as a Corporal. Mr. Jeschke married Charlotte Schwarz on May 1, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. Surviving with his wife, are six sons, Carl Edward Jeschke of Ellicott City, MD, Curt A. H. Jeschke Jr., of Kent Island, MD, Chris W. Jeschke of Severn, MD, Dr. Craig A. Jeschke of Huntingtown, MD, Clark F. Jeschke of Winchester, VA, and Dr. Colin R. Jeschke of Clark Summit, PA; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
