Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Victim identified: Richard Boroughs, 25, whose address was not confirmed, has been identified as the man fatally shot about 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the bedroom of a house in the 400 block of S. Collington Ave., near Patterson Park. No arrest had been made.

Southern District

Victim named: Police identified 34-year-old Harry Johnson 3rd, whose address was not available, as the man who died about 7:25 p.m. Saturday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the head and chest about four hours earlier in the 3000 block of Ascension St.

Western District

Robbery: A 12-year-old boy was walking in the first block of N. Stockton St. about 6:15 p.m. Saturday when two older males knocked him to the ground and took a loaf of bread and a knapsack.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: About 7 a.m. Friday, a man asked a resident of the 2600 block of W. Park Drive whether he could use her cell phone. While standing in her doorway and talking on the phone, the man suddenly shoved resident to the floor, pulled her inside and robbed her of $250. Before fleeing, the man bound the woman with bedsheets.

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted a 31-year-old man late Friday on Gray Fox Road, near Old Court Road, and robbed him of a wallet containing $80.

Essex Precinct

Burglary/vandalism: While the occupant of a townhouse in the first block of Holcomb Court was away between July 4 and Saturday, someone broke in, turned on several faucets and stole a vacuum cleaner. Leaking water from a second-floor bathroom caused a portion of his living room ceiling to collapse - part of the $10,000 damage found on the occupant's return.

Towson Precinct

Theft: Four tires were stolen early Saturday from a 1998 Cadillac parked on the lot of Johnson Funeral Home in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Lug nuts of another car on the lot also were taken.

White Marsh Precinct

Assault: A 43-year-old man was trying to break up a fight between his son and an older youth outside his home in the 7400 block of Goettner Road about 2 a.m. Saturday when the other one stabbed the father in the back with an unknown weapon. He was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. A warrant was issued for the assailant's arrest.
