RANDOLPH FRANKLIN SMITH, JR., 73, of Shohola, PA and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on August 13, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was a retired engineer for DCA Food Industries in Maryland. The son of the late Randolph Franklin Smith, Sr., and Violet (Kilbourn) Swann he was born on February 14, 1932 in Baltimore, MD. He was married to Mary (Sellman) Smith. Survivors include his wife, three daughters Kathleen Denton and her husband Edward of New Mexico, Beth Hooven and her husband Edmund of Baltimore, MD, Melissa Parlette and her husband Stephen of Baltimore, MD, eight grandchildren, Ryder, Wayne Brannin, Dustin, Randy, Annette, Jesse, Dyani, and two great-granddaughters. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Ellicott, MD on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 4 P.M. Mr. Smith's family will receive friends from 3 to 9 P.M. on Wednesday, August 16, 2004 at the home of Beth Hooven. Memorial donations may be made to the Shohola Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue, 345 Route 434, Shohola, PA 18458.
