Syracuse 4, Ottawa 2: Powered by John-Ford Griffin's two-run home run in the third inning, the host SkyChiefs (63-61) defeated the Lynx (61-63).

Double-A Eastern League

Harrisburg 1, Bowie 0: Hayden Penn (5-6) allowed one earned run through five innings while striking out seven, but lost to David Maust (4-3). Maust went the distance, striking out eight, to lift the Senators (58-65) over the Baysox (63-60).

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 5, Potomac 1: Brian Finch (9-9) struck out seven through 6 1/3 innings to lead the Keys (26-21) to victory over the Nationals (26-25).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Hagerstown 1, Hickory 0: Russ Triplett tripled in the fourth inning to score James Burt and lift the Suns (16-30) past the visiting Crawdads (27-23). Kannapolis at Delmarva, ppd. rain

Single-A New York-Penn League

Aberdeen 4, Hudson Valley 3: Ryan Finan drove in Robert Andrews in the 10th inning for the game-winning run as the host IronBirds (19-35) rallied past the Renegades (26-26).

Rookie Appalachian League

Bluefield 5, Burlington 2 (first game): The host Orioles (23-28) scored one run in the second inning and four in the third to beat the visiting Indians (20-32) in the first game of the doubleheader, which was shortened to seven innings. Burlington 14, Bluefield 2 (second game)
