Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Balti more County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Drug arrests: Two teenage males and three women were arrested Monday night by district drug enforcement officers in a raid on a rowhouse in the 3300 block of Hickory Ave. that police described as a midlevel outlet for crack cocaine in Hampden. The names of those arrested are being withheld pending completion of the investigation, said Sgt. Donald Kramer of the drug unit. All five face charges of possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to distribute. The arrests followed at least two months of undercover surveillance by Detective James Liberto. Quantities of cocaine and marijuana were found in two bedrooms, Kramer said.

Northwestern District

Robbery try/shooting: A gunman entered the Amoco station in the 2800 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Monday and ordered customer Egal Kahin, 31, to open the door to the cashier's booth. When Kahin said he could not, the gunman threatened to kill him. During a struggle with the gunman, Kahin was shot in the left hand. The gunman fled. Kahin was treated at Union Memorial Hospital.

Southern District

Robbery: Two men entered a parked delivery truck in the 1300 block of James St. about 1:40 p.m. Monday, assaulted the driver and stole more than $1,600 worth of cigarettes.

Stolen vehicle: A gold-colored 1995 Cadillac with tags 5AW M97 was stolen Sunday in the 400 block of N. Clinton St.

Stolen van: A gray 1994 Chevrolet Astro van with tags 194M425 was stolen over the weekend in the 500 block of N. Curley St.

Central District

Theft: Someone used a rock Monday to break a window of a 1995 Honda Civic in a garage in the 1300 block of Cathedral St. and stole 50 compact discs, all valued at $770. The rock was found inside the car.

Burglary: Police reported at least three people broke into a house in the 2100 block of Mount Royal Ave. through a rear door between Friday and Monday and stole a Jacuzzi, lighting fixtures and a chandelier - all worth $3,200.

Theft: A book bag and several books were stolen Monday from a 1988 Subaru parked in the 800 block of Linden Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Carjacking/arrest: A woman entered a man's 2004 Ford van at Golden Ring and Ridge roads about 2 a.m. Monday, then struck him over the head, shoved him from the vehicle and sped away. The van was stopped by police a short time later in the 11000 block of Pulaski Highway and the woman was arrested. Charged with carjacking was Stacey Krueger, 33, of the 800 block of Arncliffe Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Wolf's Finest Chocolates in the 8300 block of Philadelphia Road on Monday and stole a snowball machine valued at $1,300.

North Point Precinct

Arrest: After stopping at Rolling Mill Road and North Point Boulevard about 3 p.m. Monday, Officer Michael Trout checked the tag of a 2002 Chrysler Sebring stopped in front of him and learned the vehicle had been stolen in Baltimore over the weekend. Arrested and charged with auto theft was Ebony Wallace, 22, of the 5100 block of Groton Road, Baltimore.
