Pedestrian tunnel closing for BWI expansion work

The expansion of the domestic terminal at Baltimore-Washington International Airport has shifted to the center of the terminal near Concourse C.

The move will require the closing of the pedestrian tunnel between the terminal and Level One of the hourly parking garage until October 2006, when the project is expected to be completed.

New high-speed, high-capacity elevators are available from the garage at Concourse C to the new skywalk system.

As part of this phase of expansion, the stairs and escalators at Concourse C are closed. Patrons must use stairs, escalators or elevators at Concourses B or D to move between the upper and lower levels of the airport.
