Outlook: A win by the Bayhawks will clinch top seeding in Major League Lacrosse's playoffs over the Boston Cannons, who defeated the Long Island Lizards last night, 19-16. The Lizards and Rochester are also in the four-team playoff field. The Rattlers clinched their spot Thursday, when the defending champion Philadelphia Barrage lost to the New Jersey Pride, 16-12. Rochester and Long Island are in the running for the third seed. All playoff games will be played at Boston University's Nickerson Field, with semifinals at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday and the championship game at 1 p.m. Aug. 21. Gary Gait leads the Bayhawks and the league with 56 points (37 one-point goals, 19 assists), and Tom Marechek , tied for second in the league, has 53 points (32 one-point goals, 21 assists). Casey Powell leads Rochester with 51 points (25 one-point goals, 26 assists).
