Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Assault/arrest: A 16-year-old boy on home detention for auto theft, drug violations, a handgun violation and robbery was arrested early Thursday and charged as a juvenile with assaulting a 14-year-old girl during an argument that day at his home in the 6200 block of Fortview Way. The girl was admitted to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of a broken nose, a possible fractured jaw and other injuries. The suspect was removed from his home and was being held at the Juvenile Detention Center on North Gay Street.

Central District

Theft: A cell phone, cash, hand tools and an electric drill were stolen Wednesday from a 2000 Ford van parked in the 2500 block of Madison Ave.

Southern District

Arsons: An arsonist set fire to a vacant house in the 100 block of S. Clinton St. about 4 a.m. Thursday, causing an estimated $30,000 in damage. Police said at least three trash fires were set nearby within minutes of the house fire, probably by the same person or people.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A red 1998 Dodge Neon with tags MVA 814 was stolen Thursday in the 5600 block of Oregon Ave.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A green 2005 Kawasaki KLX-110 dirt bike was stolen Wednesday from the rear porch of a house in the 1500 block of Leslie Road.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the first block of Dowling Circle through the front door Wednesday and removed $600 from a bedroom.
