Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Arrest: A man charged with killing a man in Charlotte, N.C., more than three years ago was arrested Tuesday in the Brooklyn section of South Baltimore. Officers with the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and U.S. marshals traced the suspect, Jesus Rios Adan-Cruz, 24, to the 4100 block of Duane Ave. About 4 p.m. Tuesday, he was spotted in a car in the 500 block of Washburn Ave. and arrested.

Drug arrest: An Arbutus man lost control of a 1993 Volvo as he drove south on Interstate 395 near M&T Bank Stadium about 9 p.m. Tuesday, and struck a jersey barrier. Officer James Markley of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police found a felt bag in the vehicle containing marijuana, heroin and Xanax, methadone and Valium pills and drug paraphernalia. Charged with possessing and driving under the influence of narcotics was Ronald J. Ward, 38, of the 1300 block of Linden Ave.

Northeastern District

Bank robbery: About 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, two gunmen robbed Wachovia Bank in the 1700 block of E. Northern Parkway of an undisclosed sum of money.

Central District

Robbery: A 71-year-old man walking in the 1600 block of Bolton St. was robbed of more than $400 by a man who struck him about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A 20-inch TV, a VCR, a DVD player, clothing, and other items - all valued at $753 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 800 block of Northrup Lane.
