Elizabeth Ann Frist, 60, office manager for roofer

Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Frist, a roofing and slate company office manager, died of cancer Monday at Franklin Square Hospital Center. The White Marsh resident was 60.

Born Elizabeth Ann Adamski in Baltimore and raised in the Northshire section of Dundalk, she was a 1963 graduate of Dundalk High School.

For more than 35 years, Mrs. Frist was officer manager for Gummer Roofing Co., and later Gummer Slate in White Marsh, businesses in which her husband was an owner. She also worked as a bookkeeper and billing specialist for two Rosedale-area physicians.

Mrs. Frist accompanied her family to NASCAR races and enjoyed watching old I Love Lucy TV episodes.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 7945 N. Boundary Road, Dundalk, where she received her primary education and was a former member.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Bernard G. "Pop" Frist Sr.; three sons, Bernard G. Frist Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert W. Frist of White Marsh and Brian J. Frist of Kingsville; her mother, Bertha Lackl Adamski of Northshire; three sisters, Linda Starner of Joppatowne, Mary Votta of Norrisville and Stephanie Bagley of Timonium; and three grandsons.
