Eisner Interactive announced that Brian Appel joined the firm as affiliate manager for its CPAffiliates and that Kirsten Ellison and Pamela Galeone came on staff as account managers. And Stacy Smith was named as interactive media buyer.

Sawmill Marketing Public Relations named Jeffrey A. Davis as a partner in the Baltimore-based regional agency. He formerly was senior vice president of Crosby Marketing Communications in Annapolis.

CGS Creative appointed Tim House as executive vice president of strategy and planning for the Upper Marlboro-based marketing agency.


SunTrust Bank Maryland announced the appointments of J.D. Zachry as a senior vice president in the bank's retail division. He has responsibility for branches in the city and Baltimore and Harford counties. The bank also appointed Dustin A. Lindsay as an assistant vice president and named David M. Plasse, Sun Little, Teri Miller and Jonathan Holloway as banking officers for the regional bank.

The Columbia Bank appointed Annette Ferrell, formerly a vice president with M&T Bank, as vice president of customer support for the Howard County financial institution.


Hord Coplan Macht welcomed Julie Higgins as a principal of the Baltimore-based architect and landscape firm. She will direct landscape architectural design, new client development and manage the landscape architectural studio.

AAA Mid-Atlantic named Ragina Cooper Averella as public and government affairs manager.

iJet Intelligent Risk Systems appointed John Callari as senior vice president of sales for the Annapolis-based provider of risk management technology.

Cannon Design announced that Michael Yung and Earl G. Massey joined the Baltimore firm as staff architects.

The Institute for Financial Excellence named Gene Sanders as general manager of events. He will oversee all operations, sales and marketing for the Hunt Valley-based organization.


University of Maryland School of Medicine announced the appointments of Dr. Alan R. Shuldiner as director of its human genetics program and Jo R. Martin to coordinate the school's bicentennial celebration and events in 2007.
