RISING SUN - A Cecil County man was killed early yesterday morning when the car he was driving struck a wooden fence, and a post speared him in the chest, state police said.
John A. Peoples, 23, of the 100 block of Cissel Lane in Rising Sun was traveling south on Little New York Road about 2:30 a.m. when his Jeep went off the road. He was dead at the scene.
