Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrest: Reginald McKeever, 19, who is charged in a warrant with attempted murder in the shooting of an off-duty city police officer, was arrested yesterday in Parkville by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force. McKeever, of the 4700 block of Elison Ave., is alleged to have shot Officer Kevin Simmons in the foot during a robbery attempt July 18 in the 5300 block of Goodnow Road.

Eastern District

Homicide arrest: Kevin Johnson, 23, of the 2300 block of Jefferson St., was arrested Monday in the 1200 block of N. Luzerne Ave. on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. He is charged in the June 7 shooting of Damon Holmes, 28, in the 2700 block of Beryl Ave.

Homicide arrest: Ronald Sparkman, 19, of the 1500 block of E. Madison St. was arrested Thursday at a state prison facility on Forrest Street on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. Sparkman, who was serving a term for an unrelated crime, is charged with shooting Ralph Pritchett, 22, in the 1600 block of E. Madison St. on Jan. 14., said homicide Detective Arthur Brummer.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Dulani Watkins, 33, remained in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot several times Sunday night near a tennis court at Edmondson High School. No arrest had been made.

Western District

Arrest: Dominick Jones, 17, of the 2700 block of Harlem Ave. was arrested yesterday in the 3300 block of Presstman St. on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. Jones is charged with shooting Larnell Downes, 38, in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. on July 10.

Southern District

Burglary: Eight silver service spoons, change and a cordless telephone were stolen Monday from a house in the 1100 block of E. Patapsco Ave.

Central District

Theft: A thief bumped into a 33-year-old man walking in the 100 block of Light St. about 1 p.m. Monday and snatched a $400 cell phone from the victim's waistband.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking three men, one with a gun, who forcibly entered a house in the first block of Orion Court early Monday, bound two women with duct tape and stole $10 and a vehicle handicap placard.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Family Dollar in the 8400 block of Philadelphia Road of an undisclosed sum and a telephone about 9 p.m. Monday.

Burglary: Someone shattered a window at the Shell station in the 9700 block of Belair Road early Monday, entered and stole more than $900 worth of cigarettes.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: About $11,000 in jewelry and cash was stolen Monday from two bedrooms of a house in the 900 block of Oakleigh Beach Road.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Property valued at $8,000 was stolen Monday from a storage locker of an apartment building in the first block of Lava Court.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A 20-year-old man was standing at a bus stop at Liberty Road and Liberty Place about 11 p.m. Sunday when four males, one with a handgun, robbed him of $3.- Richard Irwin
